Agata & Grzegorz | idyllic barn wedding in Polish countryside, Ceglarnia Jarosławki
In the first email they wrote: “we have a lot of love for each other and for nature”, and those were definitely not just empty words. I could see their love to nature in the way they described their dream wedding, and later when we met in their home in Norway, when they introduced me to their favourite hiking spots, and breathtaking norwegian landscapes. And their feelings to each other? Just have a look at the photos, it’s not often that a couple looks at each other with such love and affection.
Their whole idea of the wedding day was about having a fun relaxed day in idyllic surrounding, so Ceglarnia – a modern barn hidden in the countryside near Poznań was a perfect choice. Agata and Grześ really enjoyed the wedding preparations and made a lot of decorations themselves. Farma Florystyczna fulfilled their dream of idyllic decor made with wildflowers, and it was these subtle details that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the day and bride and groom’s personalities. Both of them also prepared wonderful surprises for their other halves – Grześ gave Agata a book with all the letters they had exchanged before they met (what a wonderful idea!), and in the evening Agata and her friends surprised (not only the groom) with a belly dance show. As you will also see in this blogpost – this time the ceremony took place in a beautiful wooden church in Gogolewo, and before we returned to Ceglarnia for the wedding party, we also found a moment for a small session with the charming vintage car.
I don’t know how it happened, that it’s only the first wedding story from Ceglarnia that I publish here. If you follow me, you know for sure that this is one of my beloved wedding venues in Poland, not only because it is so beautiful, full of original details and unique style, but because it has amazingly relaxed atmosphere, and if someone dreams of such “slow wedding” away from everything – that’s the right place. I truly love going back there, once read an review which said that “Ceglarnia is a place that it is difficult to get to, but once you get there it is just sad to leave”, and I couldn’t agree more!
